Robo Pets

I know when i was younger i had a tamigatchi pet. Virtual pets are everywhere they even now have robo pets. I read quite a few articles where vetranarians and psychologist where testing to see the companionship of robo pets. They found that lots of people found that they thought the pet was a good companion. They don't need to be feed or cleaned up after. I find this very interesting because people are looking for computers and robots as viable companions now. it kinda messes with my head but at the same time i can appreciate maybe some of the benefits of having a pet that never dies but it is still kind of an odd concept for me.
